James Goldgeier (@JimGoldgeier – American College) is a Professor of Worldwide Relations and served as Dean of the Faculty of Worldwide Service at American College from 2011-17. He’s a Visiting Fellow on the Middle on the USA and Europe on the Brookings Establishment. He’s additionally a analysis affiliate on the Middle for Worldwide Safety and Cooperation and the Middle for Democracy, Improvement, and the Rule of Legislation, each at Stanford College. He serves because the chair of the State Division Historic Advisory Committee and is a member of the Secretary of State’s Worldwide Safety Advisory Board. He was a Visiting Senior Fellow on the Council on International Relations from 2017-19, and in 2018-19, he held the inaugural Library of Congress Chair in U.S.-Russia Relations on the John W. Kluge Middle. His most up-to-date books are Evaluating NATO Enlargement: From Chilly Battle Victory to the Russia-Ukraine Battle (co-edited with Joshua R. Itzkowitz Shifrinson) and International Coverage Careers for PhDs: A Sensible Information to a World of Potentialities (co-authored with Tamara Cofman Wittes). He’s the recipient of the Edgar S. Furniss e book award in nationwide and worldwide safety and co-recipient of the Georgetown College Lepgold Guide Prize in worldwide relations.
