“Lights Gentle Up”
Fenne Lily is a singer and songwriter from Dorset, England. She launched her first album in 2018, however I didn’t discover her music till 2023, when she put out her third album, Huge Image. The album she launched in between these two was one which bought a bit of misplaced within the lockdown, when all her touring plans round it bought canceled. All of that performs into the story she tells on this episode, about making her tune “Lights Gentle Up” from that third album. I spoke to Fenne in entrance of a reside viewers at WBUR CitySpace, in Boston. Developing, you’ll hear how the tune developed throughout totally different variations of demos after which within the studio, the place she recorded it with Grammy-nominated producer Brad Prepare dinner.
